Gary Pollice has been a software engineer for 34 years. He began his career by developing business systems and then migrated to compiler development, utilities, and software tools. Known in Rational circles as the "RUP Curmudgeon," he now focuses on software process, especially for small projects. He is currently working on a book that is tentatively titled Process and Tools for Small Projects. He holds a B.A. in mathematics, and an M.S. in computer science.
